RESPONSIBILITY
The pursuit to put sustainability at the core of my business is our main priority, it’s important to go that extra mile!
We are in the process to find alternative materials to non-sustainable fabrics. I am working closely with my fabric suppliers to only use fabrics that have a lower impact on the environment. At the same time I continue to learn and educate myself on how to take my business to the next step.
It won’t be easy, but if we care deeply about the collective good and our personal responsibility, the industry and our individual relationship with fashion has to change post COVID-19. The benefits to all of us will be deep and lasting.

Organic Cotton
Organic cotton is cotton that is produced and certified to organic agricultural standards. Its production sustains the health of soils, ecosystems and people by using natural processes rather than artificial inputs. Importantly organic cotton farming does not allow the use of toxic chemicals or GMOs (genetically modified organisms). Instead, it combines tradition, innovation and science to benefit the shared environment and promote a good quality of life for all involved.
FSC
Forest Stewardship Council, an organization established to promote responsible management of the world's forests. FSC certificates ensures that forest products such as viscose, bamboo etc. are sourced from well-managed forests and / or recycled materials. If the rate of harvesting these materials does not exceed the rate at which the forest can regenerate, and harvesting is done in a way that allows forests to continue to play their role in ecosystem health, then forests can be a reliable and sustainable source of raw materials.
Recycled Polyester
Recycled polyester is a man-made fabric produced from synthetic fibers. However, instead of utilizing new materials to craft the fabric (i.e. petroleum), recycled polyester makes use of existing plastic. In many cases, those existing plastics are your old water bottles, which are then processed.
EcoVero
Derived from certified renewable wood sources using an eco-responsible production process by meeting high environmental standards, EcoVero fibers tailor to a sustainable lifestyle, contributing to a cleaner environment. Compared to conventional viscose production, the production of EcoVero causes 50 percent less emissions and takes up half as much energy and water in addition to its pulp bleaching being 100 percent chlorine-free.
Mulesing Free
Mulesing procedure means cutting skin from around a lamb’s breech to create an area of bare, stretched skin. Because the scarred skin has no folds or wrinkles to hold moisture and feces, it is less likely to attract blowflies who might cause the death of the sheep. Mulesing is a painful surgical procedure for sheep and it can be avoided. No animal should have to go through the pain and stress that this kind of procedure causes.
